You brush your teeth twice a day, floss most nights, and still wake up with that coated tongue and low-grade brain fog. The thing you’re missing isn’t another toothpaste — it’s the thick biofilm sitting on the back of your tongue that’s feeding bacteria straight into your gut and bloodstream while you sleep.

What’s actually happening on your tongue

The tongue dorsum — the top surface — is the single largest microbial reservoir in your mouth. What we still don’t know
